Minimization of personal data. According to the GDPR, it means collecting, using only the data strictly necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, avoiding the collection of superfluous data. This principle guarantees the privacy of the interested parties, and limits the possibility of unauthorized or harmful uses.  

Data minimization, provided for by art. 5 of the GDPR, is a principle for the protection of personal data, which must be:

Adequate: appropriate for the purpose for which they are collected.

Relevant: relevant for the purpose for which they are collected.

Limited: must be strictly necessary data.

The data provided will be used only for order management, and will not be shared with third parties. A shop that sells digital invitations for children, only requires the name of the child, the date of the party, to make changes to the file; email address to send the modified file with the download button.

Payment Information: Shopify stores them securely on its own servers, which are PCI (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant.

Restrictions on Use;  digital files cannot be reused for commercial purposes. Redistribution, sharing and resale are explicity prohibited.
